Adventures

Wow, it has been almost a year since I have updated my blog! I will try to do better and keep it up. Since then, I have been up at school at BYU-Idaho. I only have 3 more semesters before I graduate :) My best friend, Valeri got married, and I went to YellowStone National Park for the first time. As of right now, I am working up at Jacob Lake Inn in Arizona! I am working in the kitchen and had lots of experience to learn how it all works in the restaurant. I have also been to the Grand Canyon and it looks so gorgeous there! It is amazing! I have a month and half to go until I go home. I miss my family a lot and can't wait to be with them for Christmas! Well that is about it for now!

Living it Up in Rexburg

Hello everyone! Woo hoo this is my first post on my blog. I have loved reading my friend blogs, and now I am excited to start one of my own.

Since January 2009, I have been living in Rexburg, Idaho to attend school at BYU-Idaho. In the past 3 years, I have lived in Rexburg various times. But this is my first time living here without going home during my off track in the Fall. This year I have lived in the Greenbriar apartment complex. This has been the far best place that I haved lived in Rexburg. In Greenbriar, the people are in the same ward. It has been really fun getting to know a lot of great and amazing individuals. I have gained so many close friendships with them, especially with my roommates. My roommates have been my side through all my ups and downs. I couldn't ask for anyone better. I have had so many neat experiences and adventures living here. I can't wait to have greater ones that await in the future.



In our apartment, there are times when we just sing and dance to a variety of song! We love to have fun and being random at times :)



One of the most memorable things up at school was the day I ripped my pants. It was fun telling people the story and my pants to them. Their reactions were awesome and priceless. Here is how it all happened:

On February 4, 2009, I was walking home from my last class for the day. Before I was almost home, I had to cross the street to get there and walk on the sidewalk. Once i got on that side of the street, I slipped and fell on the side of my body. I was thinking that was embarrasing, but just laughed about it. An hour and a half later, I had to go to the Hinckley Building for a meeting for my major. Before the meeting started, I was talking to a friend. But then this lady came up to me and said I had a big rip on the back of my pants. Once she said that, I was totally embarrased and so surprised it happened. I didn't even know there was a rip in my pants. Shortly after, me and a whole bunch of people had to walk down the hallway to a certain room for the meeting. My friend was walking right behind, so that no one can see the rip in my pants. After the meeting was over, I wrapped my coat around my waist and put on my backpack, making sure it would cover it all. While I was walking home, " Wow, what a day, was worse can happen then this, and thinking people probalby think I am crazy because it's so cold, and I don't have my coat on." Well it just gets more interesting from there. So I was still walking home and this guy asked if i needed a ride home, but i said I just lived right across the street, but thanked him. So once I crossed the street, and got the sidewalk, I slipped on the ice twice( the same spot I slipped earlier that day), and there was a guy right in front of me. I felt embarrased at the moment, and couldn't believe all of this was happening in one day. But as I look back at it, I just enjoy laughing about it and having a great time telling it! :)



In our apartment, there will be times where we just laugh so hard at the randomnest things. In this clip, my roommate Camilla was outside right by the door. Valeri told me to go right next to the door, but didn't realize she locked Camilla out. As I was walking up to the door, Camilla tried to get in, and I didn't expect so it scared me. I ran to the kitchen and screamed. Valeri and I just burst out laughing and we couldn't stop. :)
